I have finally decided to take the marital plunge. After a quite long engagement with my fiancé, I decided to tie the knot and seal the commitment this year. My soon-to-be husband is from the City of Perris. It is a city in Riverside County, California with a sunny, mild Mediterranean climate. Like most residents in the city, my fiancé is of Hispanic race and is a Catholic. According to the recent census, 56.2% of the population of the city are Hispanics and are mostly Catholics.I finally had the chance of visiting the city where my fiancé grew up and is planning to settle after our marriage. We visited his home during the celebration of their patron saint’s day. It was explained to be that most Hispanic Catholics dedicate a day for the purpose of thanking their patron saint for all the blessings. I attended their religious services a joined them in their festival. I had a fun time bonding with his parents especially his father who still works as a plumber Perris in a well-known plumbing service Perris in the community at the age of 75. I admire him for his industry and perseverance at his old age. He resembles my fiancé physically and I am quite certain that he would also be a very good family man. After meeting his family and experiencing life in his city, I wouldn’t mind growing old in Perris.
